Harper-Tinkling Spring Cemetery
(Buckskin Township, Ross County)
Ohio
Located 100 feet north of Harper Station Road, one mile north of SR 28 and 250 feet north of the abandoned B&O Railroad right-of-way near Dewey Creek. Harper Station was an early station on the B&O, named for the Harper family. In 1875, Caleb Harper and his family lived on his 385 acre farm just one-fourth mile northwest of the station and most of the burials in the cemetery are from that family. Source of the Tinkling Spring name is not known. In 1997, the cemetery was enclosed by a heavy iron fence and was well kept.
