Fairfax Cemetery is located off Hydell Road (this end roward Blacksmith Hill) back in a woods, on property of Mrs. Essie Jones Robinson. She did not know the condition the cemetery was in as she had not visite it for quite awhile and loggers had been in her woods since she had visited it. Mrs. Charles (Sue) Sewards and Marie T. Clark visited the cemetery on December 2 1970 and althoug there were cedar trees and lots of ground cover, no stones were found. From memory Mrs, Robinson stated that colored folks were buried here along with white folks,
