Davis Cemetery #2 (Huntington Twp, Ross County) Ohio Located on Survey #127777 on a hill soutwest of Valley Road near its intersection with Schaffer Road. Davis cemeteries Nos. 1 and 2 are about 1/2 mile apart. They are both African-American burial grounds. Stock and time have destroyed most of the markers.
Located south of Davis Cemetery No. 1 on the same knob. The property was owned by Rev. Thomas Decalb Davis and most of the burials are his family. Information was provided by Beverly Gray. |
